The 40 Days of Engagement on Anti-Racism return October 15‒November 29, 2024. Interpretation will be offered at these three events—save the dates now!

  • Tues. Oct. 22: Bold Discipleship: Reflections from the United Church in Saskatchewan. There will be English-Korean interpretation.
  • Tues. Nov. 5: Fighting Anti-Palestinian Racism in Canada. There will be English-French interpretation.
  • Tues. Nov. 19: The Texts of Advent: Finding Good News and Avoiding Antisemitism. There will be English-French interpretation.

  • Tues. Oct. 22: Bold Discipleship: Reflections from the United Church in Saskatchewan with Lynn Caldwell, SunDo Hyun, Bernon Lee, and Becca Whitla. There will be English-Korean interpretation.
  • Tues. Oct. 29: Race Talks from Gen Zs with a panel of youth from Indigenous-racialized backgrounds, Springwater Hester-Meawassige, and Emo Yango.
  • Tues. Nov. 5: Fighting Anti-Palestinian Racism in Canada with a panel of key leaders. There will be English-French interpretation.
  • Tues. Nov. 12: Continuing Our Stories: Indigenous Identities in the Christian Church with leaders from the Anglican Church of Canada and The United Church of Canada
  • Tues. Nov. 19: The Texts of Advent: Finding Good News and Avoiding Antisemitism with Amy-Jill Levine. There will be English-French interpretation.
  • Tues. Nov. 26: What Will We Sing When We Need to Sing a New Song? with the Then Let Us Sing! Committee

Each program will be recorded and posted on the United Church’s YouTube channel, as well as at the course page. Handouts and resources provided during the live events will be stored at the course page and accessible to all registrants.
